DS recalls the Postgraduate Research Symposium that has taken place twice, firstly in 2019 in Amsterdam, and secondly as an online event in 2021. So far it was organised in collaboration by the KVNM and the RMA. Both times the symposium has been very successful with a fruitful exchange of young researchers. Now the forum committee of KVNM suggest to broaden the format (involve other societies as well) and to organize a next Postgraduate Research Symposium as an event of NEMS, with the option that KVNM will host it firstly in the Netherlands. This would make NEMS more visible as well. The question is if this plan would be realistic.
